At Birmingham Central Backpackers we offer all the comforts of home. Set up with travellers needs in mind we have a self-service kitchen (that can save you money because you're able to cook your own meals), a Giant Projector Screen to watch Movies or TV, Books to read from our library, Free WiFi, computers with internet access for guests to use for free, tea and cofffee to help yourself to; and a bar that serves a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks We have loads of boardgames to play, a Nintendo Wii, an X-Box 360, and a PlayStation 3 as well as a tourist information centre full of brochures and maps to help you make the most of your visit to Birmingham - and that's without taking into consideration our knowledgable and helpful staff!

The laid back atmosphere at Birmingham Central Backpackers provides a great base to relax and recover from your city centre explorations, and as we've been told by numerous guests, it's more like staying with friends than at a hostel. Our common room is one of the best around and even has a cosy working fireplace that you can snuggle up next to!

Since our backpackers' is smoke-free, we have an outdoor patio with a garden where guests who smoke can enjoy a cigarette and others can go to enjoy the flowers and the fresh air.

We have Lockers available for use in the common room Free of charge, if you need a padlock you can borrow one from reception.

We even have an iron and ironing board you can use! And a hairdryer you can borrow! Literally all the comforts of home!

These facilities and the common room are all available for use between 8am and midnight.
